This is your jumpstart to getting going with marketing on Facebook & Instagram and buying ads through Ads Manager. It is a shorter, more compact version of our ‘Whole Enchilada’ course without some of the more advanced topics and techniques. If you want to get started as quickly as possible, then this course gives you the fundamentals to hit the ground running.
In this course, over just a few hours, we are going to prepare you for your first campaign and the elements to getting it right. We provide you with the key concepts, tools and understanding you'll need to effectively start running ads on Facebook & Instagram. We review what you need before advertising, cover the foundations and basics of buying on these platforms, breakdown how campaigns work and go through some of the key decisions / areas you will need to consider when running campaigns (objectives, audiences, creative, etc). We help you to start thinking like a marketer and feel more confident when going into the Ads Manager platform for the first time.
Here is a breakdown of what you can expect -
We kick off with introductions into the world of marketing on Facebook and the Facebook ecosystem, starting off with a primer - level setting with an introduction to the platform, fundamentals of ads, key principles and what you need before advertising.
The bulk of the course covers and breakdowns the different knowledge areas, including audience and creative, that you will need to effectively run campaigns. We dive into the key decisions at each level of campaign development - Campaign, Ad Set & Ad. Each section involves thinking about the focus (i.e. audience or creative) strategically, learning the options and how they are relevant, reviewing the tools and set up, and using real-world cases on how to apply.
Throughout the course we provide live demos on the platform so you can see exactly how to apply the learnings as well as offer further guidance around best practices, experienced tips and considerations.
Our goal is for you to walk away from this training with a strong grip on the skills and knowledge to set up campaigns on your own, with an understanding of each of the elements that go into making a successful first campaign.
