This is the big one, the whole enchilada! This training course incorporates a bit of everything to make sure you get started the right way and understand the fundamentals of advertising on Facebook & Instagram. We focus on getting you started the right way, understanding what the platform offers and helping you to think like a marketer. We then take you just that little bit further so you are familiar with some of the more advanced features and tools to take on when you’re ready.

This course packs a lot into one day to set the foundations of understanding, incorporating the concepts and tools required, introducing each of the core concepts of marketing on Facebook and going a bit further to equip you with some of the more advanced features when you're ready to take them on. We go beyond the basics and root this course in strategy and marketing principles to ensure you have the knowledge to get the most out of the platform. We take you through topics, tools, principles, real-world examples as well as advanced features, creative possibilities, test and learn opportunities and how to start understanding performance through measurement.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect -

Facebook Ads 101

Before diving in we kick off with introductions into the world of marketing on Facebook and the Facebook ecosystem, starting off with a primer - level setting with an introduction to the platform, fundamentals of ads, key principles and campaign structure.

Campaign - Key Areas

We then get into the foundations of advertising on Facebook & Instagram – breaking down how campaigns work and get into the meat of advertising with the core areas that make up ads such as audiences and creative. We go through each section in detail - thinking about the focus (i.e. objective, audiences, etc) strategically, learning the options and how they are relevant, reviewing the tools and set up, and using real-world cases on how to apply. To ensure you have the knowledge to get the most out of the platform we take you beyond the basics and go through topics such as advanced targeting (custom and lookalike audiences), creative tools, placement customisation and more.

Live Demonstrations & Best Practices / Use Cases

In this course, we spend more time getting into the mindset of a marketer from introducing strategic thinking through to considerations and best practices. We do live demonstrations on the platform along the way and at the end bring everything you learned together with a full campaign walk through. Finally, we introduce you to additional tools and resources that will be helpful as you progress with your marketing efforts and continue to improve your skills.
